Bill Anderson, the host of “Bill’s Jukebox” on Classical 96.3 FM in Toronto, has passed away.
I never met the gentleman, but he has been in my household since I first moved out on my own at the age of 20.
Fourteen years later, the radio is still played all day long.
It was a disappointing day when he announced his retirement.
It is a tragedy now that he is gone.
Anderson had a perfect voice for radio and his daily program was always a pleasurable experience, even if Andrea Boccelli would hurt my ears.
You will be missed, Mr. Anderson!
Hopefully I will get to meet you on the other side.
