I am a full-time professional writer. Prior to my self-employment pursuits, I worked as a reporter for Digital Journal covering the politics beat and The Toronto Times reporting on the city’s entertainment scene. I currently write mostly about economics.
My duties as a journalist have consisted of:
- Interviewing high-level public officials.
- Attending press conferences and photographing media events.
- Covering various demonstrations.
- Perusing media releases to pen news about polls and announcements.
- Profiling and interviewing political candidates.
Throughout my freelance endeavors, I have specialized in a variety of fields:
- Content Marketing
- How-to Articles
- Website Content
- Editing & Proofreading
My work has generated more than 12 million views. It has been seen on CNS News, The Mises Institute, Zero Hedge, Money Morning, Economic Policy Journal, the B2B News Network, Liberty Nation, and many other publications.
I have also worked with an array of content agencies, such as Media Shower, InboundJunction, and The Helium Network.
A little bit about me outside of work: I enjoy watching old motion pictures from the ’20s to the ’60s, listening to jazz from the same time period, going to the opera, spending time with our cats (Max and Batman) and reading detective stories, classic fiction, history, and economics.
Oh, and most importantly, loving my wife, Jennifer, and our two children, Edie and Nolan.
